Chickenpox is a highly contagious and air-borne disease that is caused by the varicella virus. This disease usually affects children between the age group of 10-15 years, but in rare cases, adults may catch this disease. If it is found in an adult, this disease can be really harmful. Although this disease is not life-threatening it can cause various skin consequences. The symptoms of chickenpox include fever, tiredness, and headaches.
These symptoms usually start two to three days before getting affected. Other symptoms include red or pinkish rashes all over the body and itchiness. The rashes first appear on back, chest, neck, face and then spread all over the body.
